Marketing & Advertising Services

•   Marketing and Distribution- We create and implement strategies that detail every step of your film’s journey from wrap to release and beyond.

•   Branding- A film is ultimately a product, a product that must be presented in the proper light and to the right markets to ensure maximum exposure and revenue.

•   Creative- No film is complete without a poster, trailer or online campaign. We design and create all of the necessary assets your film needs to standout and get noticed in today’s competitive independent film marketplace.*

•   Online Content and Promotion- We create and manage your film’s online presence through various promotional strategies, including but not limited to, websites, social networks, blogger outreach, online advertising, e-mail blasts, full analytics tracking, updates and more.

•   Traditional Advertising- Just because the whole world is going digital doesn’t mean they don’t read magazines and/or their local newspaper.**

* Creative does not include hard costs such as printing, additional trailer editing (if necessary), file encoding etc. All costs are listed and approved by the filmmakers before creative work begins.

** Filmmakers may incur costs associated with placing ads in printand/or online publications. All costs are pre-approved and signed off on by the filmmakers.

Distribution

•   Digital Distribution- We work closely with our digital distribution partner IndieFlix to bring your film to audiences via the growing number of digital platforms such as hulu, iTunes, AmazonVOD, Netflix, Vudu and more.

•   Theatrical Distribution- We can even provide limited digital theatrical distribution on a case-by-case basis that will work in tandem with the film’s digital and home video release.*

*Limited theatrical film distribution is at Mattoid Entertainment’s discretion and is evaluated on a case-by-case basis provided the film and filmmaker(s) meet Mattoid Entertainment’s qualifications.

How It Works

We understand how difficult it can be to make a film let alone get your film out there in front of the general public. We’ve been there. Here at Mattoid we pride ourselves on being completely transparent in our business operations as well as giving filmmakers and their films the one-on-one attention they deserve. Making a film and releasing it to the general public should be fun, which is why we strive to make the process as stress-free as possible.

Unlike other film marketing and distribution companies we don’t take your rights away nor do we ask for an expense account or milk your earnings dry by hitting you with exorbitant costs*. We work on a percentage** meaning we don’t get paid until you get paid.

Working for a percentage of a film’s gross ensures everyone involved has a vested interest in the film doing well for it’s the only way to maximize collective earnings.

* Hard or material costs are to be paid by the filmmakers. All costs are just that – costs, they will be explained to and approved by the filmmakers in advance so there are no surprises.

** Percentage is 20% of the film’s digital gross. Theatrically released films may incur a higher percentage share.
